E.J.’s
Muso’s Club is a not for profit organization with 62 members
including 34 musicians.
Membership is $10.00 per annum
which commences in February of each year.
Everyone is
welcome to join the club irrespective of their taste in music
and/or whether they are a musician or listener.
The club meets on the
3rd Sunday of each month at the Parkes Hotel at
2.30pm in an informal jam session atmosphere with musicians
playing with their own organized group or mixing in with
others.
The order of performance is by
use of a blackboard and each set by a group should last for
approx. 30 minutes.
The aim of the club is provide an
environment where musicians of all genres can get together,
play together, learn from one another and encourage younger
musicians to play to an audience, gain experience and
confidence.
The styles of music generally
played at our meetings are blues, jazz, rock and western
swing.
